White House Launches New Effort to Convince GOP On Gun Control

Because, really, what better way to persuade conservatives to support gun control than to start tweeting pictures of black men shooting guns?

This photo was released after conservative "skeeters" (in the legacy of "birthers" and "truthers") offered skepticism when President Obama mentioned that he enjoys skeet shooting at Camp David. Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee demanded proof:
"If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn't he referenced this at any point in time?" Blackburn said Monday on CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront.
"We had this debate that is ongoing," Blackburn said. 'You would have thought it would have been a point of reference."
Conservatives insist, however, that they will not be satisfied until the White House releases the gun's long form birth certificate. You know, the real one.
